22-02-2008 - Falcons fly in Vertec for awards
Newcastle Falcons end of season awards ceremony
was enjoyed by staff players and guests alike
thanks to a finely tuned JBL Vertec line array
system covering the main stand at the falcons
stadium. Viewing was enhanced by a big screen incorporated into the stage
built on a 40ft trailer, which enabled a quick
setup time to fit in with the events tight
schedule.
Nitelites also provided sound lighting and video
systems and staff in a number of areas for the
post awards enjoyment of all the guests around
the stadium. Again staff and systems combined to produce
another tremendous event. "We aim to invest in
high quality equipment and we are able to call
upon very competant and experienced technicians," a spokesman said.

A French production company transformed a numberof areas of the region into a
cultural extravaganza for his years South tyneside
festival. Nitelites provided and deployed the organisations
favoured Meyer sound system throughout the event
various locations.
MSL4 powered boxes were used to enhance
the enjoyment of all the families and guests
attending the events across the region. The client was said to be "very happy" that Nitelites
were able to supply exactly what was required to make
the day a total success.
22-02-2008 - Moore Monitors PLEASE !!!
Nitelites has prepared itself for the festival season by adding Martin Audio LE1500 floor monitors to it's increasing hire stock.
As sales manager Jamie Moore put it, “The LE1500 was the nicest-sounding wedge. We also liked the low-profile design, which makes it much more suitable for television productions we handle, such as Teenage Cancer Trust. But overall, it was the sound we went for.”
The company ordered the first 20 LE1500s off the production line. Supplier LMC Audio also provided two new Martin WS218X high-powered 2x18s for bass extension to use with the LE1500s for drum and side-fills.

Nitelites provided full sound reinforcement ensuring crystal clarity of instruction for a crowd of 1700 adventurous souls of all ages and backgrounds who had gathered outside BALTIC, stripped naked and took part in Spencer Tunicks first large scale installation in the UK.

20-02-2008 - Nitelites Boosts Its JBL VERTEC Line Arrays With New Subwoofers
Nitelites, the North East's premier provider of sound, lighting and staging, has re-confirmed its commitment to JBL Professional's range of products by investing in eight VERTEC VT4880A subwoofers.
The units, which were supplied by Harman Pro UK, are being powered by four new Crown IT8000 amplifiers to provide 32kW of sub-bass for Nitelite's existing VT4889 rigs.
Nitelites has been stocking JBL Professional's VERTEC series for six years and was one of the first touring companies in the UK to invest in the range.
"Our primary systems consist of JBL VERTEC Line Array because they are so versatile and reliable," Moore says. "They are ideal for a wide variety of events and we regularly use them for festivals and touring, as well as classical concerts. We are delighted to have taken delivery of the new VT4880 subwoofers and have already used them on a number of projects, including a large cinema screen install."
JBL's VT4880 Dual 18" subwoofer is designed to deliver high quality sound reinforcement of sub-low frequencies for variety of applications including live music. Typical uses include concert audio and multi-media presentations of all types. The rigid, lightweight units incorporate advanced technology components and construction techniques for reliability and to ensure they deliver the famed JBL sound.
15-02-2008 - Stanley not so blue as Nitelites supply KV2 Audio VHD system
The Stanley Blues festival has celebrated its 15th year and, according to organiser Peter Green, the sound achieved this year was the best ever.
“We always hoped that this event would grow to be one of the best Blues festivals in the country and every year we continue to exceed our expectations. All the bands and musicians have commented on the great sound quality”
The system comprised left and right VHD stacks, with the two VHD 2.0 mid-high enclosures per side flown, supported by four VHD 2.16 double 15” subs and four VHD 1.21 ultra low-frequency subs covering the main part of the 10,000-capacity marquee. A further two KV2 Audio EX12 monitors provided centre fill, whilst a single stack of ES per side provided outfill beyond the marquee with a pair of single KV2 Audio ES stacks providing the delay.
The system was controlled by four KV2 Audio VHD2000 and four VHD3200 amplification and system control units. Delay was controlled via an XTA DP428 processor.
16-01-2008 - Two Digico D5 Live consoles added to Nitelites hire stock !
Nitelites have made some highly significant investments recently including, importantly, two Digico D5 Live consoles in a Digico FMX package.
The system comprises of the two Live 56EX consoles with an extra fibre optic reel enabling them to be used seperately (ie FOH & Monitors - 56 inputs each) or together in a combination offering 112 inputs.
The firm already supplies Midas Heritage 3000 as it's premier analogue system but pressures to win tours demanded that they widen their range.
